Launch webinar: WHO’s updated guidelines for small drinking-water supplies and associated sanitary inspection tools

Overview

The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Rural Water Supply Network (RWSN) will host a global webinar on 15th February 2024 to launch WHO’s revised Guidelines for drinking-water quality: small water supplies, along with the associated Sanitary inspection packages – a tool complementing the Guidelines for drinking water quality: small water supplies.

These new publications replace WHO’s 1997 guidance addressing the surveillance and control of community supplies. They offer practical advice for making progressive enhancements to ensure safe and sustainable drinking-water services for individuals served by various small water supplies.

During the webinar, participants will be introduced to the key features of the Guidelines and tools, engage in discussions with experts and practitioners regarding the implementation of recommendations, and gain insights into upcoming initiatives aimed at further supporting the implementation of the provided guidance.
