Collaboration with students from the Master of Management, Organisation and Culture (MOK) of the HSG

Over a span of two months, from mid-March to mid-May 2023, 25 students from the Master of Management, Organisation and Culture from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) collaborated with Skat Foundation on a transformative ‘Practice Project’ under the supervision of Matthias Müller.  This dynamic collaboration culminated in a final presentation attended by the Skat Foundation team and two board members.

Students provided consulting support in five strategic areas of Skat Foundation’s work:

  • Market and competitor’s analysis: Analysed external market dynamics, identified opportunities, and assessed competitors.
  • Management of Resources: Optimized internal resource allocation and operational efficiency.
  • Fundraising Initiatives: Consolidated fundraising approaches for financial sustainability.
  • Marketing and Communication: Proposed branding and outreach strategies for wide public engagement.
  • Growth Initiatives: Developed strategies for future expansion and impactful growth.
  • Wachstumsinitiativen (Growth Initiatives): Developed strategies for future expansion and impactful growth.

We were particularly impressed by the enormous commitment of the students. They managed complex and difficult topics in a very professional and practical way proposing useful recommendations.

We want to express our sincere appreciation to the MOK students and to the University of St. Gallen for this great collaboration. Their fresh and professional perspectives, along with innovative insights, contributed to our work as a Non-profit Organisation in international cooperation.
