Productive End Use of Mini-Grids using Micro/Mini Hydro – Three Examples of How to Make it Happen

This is the third in a series of three webinars on mini-grids and will focus on Productive End Use (PEU) of mini-grids using micro/mini hydro. The webinar will feature case studies from three different countries, namely Indonesia, Myanmar and Nepal. These case studies will focus on the social and technical pre-conditions for PEU (such as load management, tariff system and technical reliability), increase in load factor via PEU and pros and cons of electrifying “existing activities” versus “new businesses”.
