Valérie is the Knowledge Management Officer at Skat Foundation, working at the intersection of knowledge brokering, governance, and organizational development. She leads Skat Foundation’s external communication and has designed and now oversees our internal knowledge management system, ensuring that knowledge flows, tools, and procedures effectively support institutional memory and learning.
She has played a central role in guiding the development of Skat Foundation’s 2026-2030 strategy, with a focus on strengthening organizational direction, coherence, and long-term impact. Valérie also serves as the co-lead of the Sufosec Advisory Network on Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) and Leave No One Behind (LNOB).
Her work at Skat Foundation includes strengthening organizational learning processes, conducting research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and producing knowledge products. She supports the RWSN Secretariat with annual reporting, the mentoring program, and writing Stories of Change. Valérie also contributed to the hands4health project through country-level coordination and writing Impact Stories for the consortium.
With seven years of international experience in education, Valérie is currently pursuing her second Master’s degree in International Affairs & Governance at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). She holds a BA in German, English, and French Linguistics & Literature, and an MA in Educational Sciences from the University of Fribourg. In her current studies, she focuses on human rights, international law, corporate accountability, and business ethics.
