Aline Saraiva Okello
Aline is the Global Manager of the Rural Water Supply Network and is responsible for engaging and managing the activities of RWSN’s over 14,000 members and 100+ member organisations.
She oversees RWSN’s online community and platforms and leads the network’s communications and outreach. This includes coordinating RWSN’s capacity building and knowledge exchange initiatives, which comprise e-discussions, workshops, webinars and trainings on rural water supply and related themes.
With over 15 years of experience in research, consulting, and project management, Aline’s expertise ranges from water resources management to water supply and sanitation, in both urban and rural settings. Through RWSN, she supports the REACH Initiative and the REAL-Water Programme.
Aline is a water expert, with a PhD and MSc in Hydrology and Water Resources. She has published a range of research works in her field and actively engages in women networks, mentoring and empowerment initiatives within STEM.
